Meet Larry McNutt, also known as “Mac”, an Advertising Executive and Radio Broadcaster for Plainview Radio. He is Co-host of the BIG SHOW with “Mac & Janie” on Saturday Morning on KKYN 106.9 FM. He is also featured on the “Kick-in-Call In” on Saturday Morning. He is a licensed auctioneer in the state of Texas and owns McNutt Auction Service. Larry is a Retired Administrator with PISD and works part time at Plainview Radio. He was born and raised in Hobart, Oklahoma, and moved to Plainview in 1980. Larry is married to Ruth Ann McNutt, a Retired Secretary for PISD Administration. They are the parents of three children, Molly Summers, Michael McNutt, and Marla Abbott, and have six grandchildren. Larry loves to sing and perform.

Larry is a member of the Plainview Lions Club and attends First United Methodist Church. He is involved in numerous activities and organizations in Plainview. Larry is probably best known as the “OKIE” because of his Oklahoma background and his loyal support of the “Oklahoma Sooners.” He says his house is an Oklahoma Shrine and he always drives a pickup with Oklahoma emblems on it. He always dresses with some Oklahoma attire.

Therefore, he is easy to spot and get to know. (If you don’t already know him!!!!) He is never at a loss for words and would really like to help build your business with excitement and energy through radio.

Janie Keller – On Air Personality Co-Host with Larry Mac from “The Big Show”

I am a Plainview native for 30 + years, and I enjoy connecting with the Plainview and surrounding communities through Radio! I love getting to talk with People! They like hearing their names and voices on the air, and it’s a blast to hear them say they love listening to KKYN! We get all kinds of requests, and it’s really cool when folks call in and let us know they’re listening from places like Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Dayton Ohio, Indianapolis Indiana, even Brazil!

I married my high school Sweetheart Murlyn in 1984. We have two boys, two daughters in law, and one Awesome Grandson, Kyson! He’s the Best!

I am a member of Bethel Baptist Church where I teach Sunday school, play the piano and keyboard, and sing with the Praise team. I love serving the Lord! He’s Awesome! I couldn’t do what I do without Him! I write songs too. Ya… I know so does everyone else, but music runs in my veins! I come from a very talented Musical family!

I am a member of the Living Water Emmaus Community, where I have worked many walks serving on the music team.

I have been a member of the Bar None Rodeo Drill Team for 8 years! So, you have to know I adore Horses!

I love getting out on horseback, letting the little ones come up and pet the horse! The wonder and amazement in their faces makes my heart smile! They may not want to ride but they love to touch! It’s just another way to connect with folks!
